We decided that in anticipation of our first overnight house guest (Bob's sister, Rachel) coming to stay for a few weeks, it would be a good time to get rid of the hideous chains, globes, doorknob, mirror, and towelracks. The work began with a scary looking hole in our wall where the vanity mirror was:

The bathroom was the first thing we remodeled in our house as well. Our house is a total throwback to the 70's complete with hanging lights just like that in our bedroom (although they were red :) I don't know how these people on tv can spend so much remodeling rooms, we spent like maybe a couple hundred in our bathroom and that included new vanity, sink, and toilet. I guess it's all in how you look at it.
Great job, I love the light fixture.
I missed the new doorknob?? I love the updated look! We have a bathroom in Alaska that could use some help, we would pay top dollar for your labor!
